  Saint Lucia is located between St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the south and Martinique inthe north. The island is mountainous with a few rivers and waterfalls and has a beautiful vegetation. Mount Gimie is 950m high and therefore the highest elevation of the island. The Pitons, two inactive volcanos, are the most photographed landmarks of St. Lucia.

  The touristic areas are located on the west coast from Castries to Gros Islet in the north.
